So, guess what. Yesterday I walked to the library, taking pictures along the way.
I'm carrying a bookbag with books and movies to return in it.
I get to the library, I don't want to put my camera in the bag because then I'll just have to get it back out to get the books out.
And that's the last time I saw my camera. I got on the internet, whoop de doo, no problems there.
I go browse books and movies for ten minutes, get ready to leave, only to discover... my camera's not in my bag. And it's not by the computer I used. There was some mother with two kids who kept giving me weird looks.

So, I am once again without a decent camera. I still have the old one with the busted screen, but you know how easy it'll be to get close ups or macros with that.

Even if I had the money for another camera, the one that got lost/stolen has my 520MB memory card in it. And I'll never see the good pictures I took on my walk. Fucking world and stupid people. You find something that's not yours, you turn it in. Duh.

On a good note I have a shit load of pictures on the computer I haven't done anything with that I'm now processing, AND, my parents will be out until Sunday afternoon, so I can get on the computers at home freely until then. They didn't pick a real good spot to hide my keyboard, though, as I found out.
I have 2 hours of band practice tonight at 7, but whatever, I get paid for that. Today is pay day at my actual job, but I haven't gotten shit for hours lately so it'll be a small payment. But I can't drive, and my brother is out. So I might ask him to take me to pick it up when he comes home, depending on how late that is. Or I might just wait until I work next Wednesday to get it.
Anyhoo, I'm off to waste some time before band. I totally forgot how little time I have till my ride gets here until just now.

Edit: Guess not. It's 7pm. No ride. I thought when I saw the person who gives me a ride after our concert on the 4th, she went, "Do I need to give you a ride?"
And I went "You can", assuming she would come and pick me up. Guess not. Hopefully the band director is too old and senile to turn me away if I show up at the concert tomorrow.

In other news, Rest in Peace Michael Jackson, king of pop! I held it together through the whole service, but almost lost it at the end when Paris said her bit.
